Our outfitter is located in southeast Newfoundland, just east of the famed Gros Morne National Park. Access is via helicopter or float plane from the village of Cow Head. This outfitter offers fantastic hunting for moose, woodland caribou and black bear. (Caribou tags are very limited and early reservations are a must.)
Newfoundland has the highest concentration of moose per square mile in North America, excluding Alaska.
Hunting is done from clean, warm cabins providing all modern amenities including hot showers and flush toilets. Our hunters will enjoy clean camps with separate quarters for guides and staff. Meals are hearty, home cooked and plentiful. Guides are native Newfoundlanders who are very familiar with the surrounding area and experts at calling moose. Guide hunter ratios are either 1 on 1 or 1 guide for 2 hunters, as preferred. All camps are located in moose management area 3. Rifle season runs from mid September until the end of October. Bow season is the first two weeks of September. The camps are open during the prime hunting periods and success rates for moose are annually 90% +/-. Moose will average 35 to 45+ inch antler spread.

Travel to and from Newfoundland, overnight local motel coming and going, gratuities, alcoholic beverages, and any additional personal items. If you are driving, we'll be happy to provide routing directions and information about the required overnight ferry from Nova Scotia to Port Aux Basque, Newfoundland.
