Blinds are used frequently and calling by the guides is a customary part of the hunt. Two licenses are required to tag one moose in Quebec. The season is three weeks long and reservations must be made one year in advance to obtain an opening.

Bear hunts are done from well-maintained, safe tree stands, with ground blinds available for those who do not climb. Baits are maintained daily by the guides and hunters have the option of electing to shoot a second bear at an additional fee is so desired.
