Atlantic Salmon & Trout Fishing
Fish in magnificent Northern Quebec for Atlantic Salmon, Brook Trout and Lake Trout

This outfitters is located midway between Lac Minto, the headwaters of the Leaf River and Tasiujaq, where it enters Ungava Bay. You will fish a different section of the river each day, reached via jet-drive boats. Imagine; this outfitter has exclusive fishing rights to eighty miles of River for your enjoyment! Your English-speaking guides are knowledgeable and very familiar with the river and the Brook Trout, Lake Trout and Atlantic Salmon that inhabit this watershed. The sheer numbers of fish contacted daily are simply amazing and will offer fisherman, either spin or fly, of any skill level assured success.

Trip Overview

  • 7 day total trip duration with 5 days of fishing

  • Trip originates in Montreal

  • Full accommodations at camp including hot showers and toilets

  • Allowed to keep one fish of each species

  • Fully Guided, with one guide per two fishermen

All modern amenities are provided including flush toilets and hot showers! Meals are multi-course and perhaps the very best that we've had in any bush camp anywhere! Hors d’oeuvres include shrimp, scallops and smoked meats and are served each evening. Steak, pork, chicken & prime rib are among the delicious entrees served and wine is offered with dinner. Each cabin holds two people, offers electric lighting, kerosene heat and a chest of drawers for your gear & clothing. Shore lunches at noon are the norm here and fresh-cooked trout done over an open fire are a delight to be remembered until the next visit! Guests are allowed to bring one fish of each species home. Perhaps the best assessment of the quality of this fishery is to say this: On the slowest day that my fishing partner and I had during our last visit, we released over forty fish! During our stay, we caught brook trout to 5 ½ pounds and lake trout to 20 lbs. But it's important to understand that the Brookies averaged three pounds and the Lakers eight pounds.
