Kentucky Whitetail Deer Hunts
Travel to Western Kentucky and hunt for trophy Whitetails in the Ohio River Valley
Our Kentucky outfitter is located in the western Kentucky community of Marion, a short two hour drive from the Nashville airport. This outfitter offers world-class hunting for trophy whitetails. Hunts are based in a brand new, smoke-free lodge, with fieldstone fireplace surrounded by trophy Whitetail Mounts. Semi-private rooms with bath (linens and towels are provided), and delicious home cooked meals are prepared daily. Hunts are guided and take place on five thousand acres of land either owned by the outfitter or land that is leased for exclusive use. Oak and hickory forests, vast corn fields, turnip plots and other extensive food plots maintained by the outfitter are closely managed to provide archery, rifle and black powder opportunities for the serious trophy hunter.
Archery season begins in mid-September and runs through mid-January. A 2-week rifle season is offered in mid-November and our black powder hunters will enjoy a 1-week season in early December. Archery hunters typically hunt from ladder or climbing stands. Gun hunters hunt from ground blinds, ladder stands or box blinds. Eight hunters per week is the maximum, offering plenty of options for hunting locations.
This outfitter mandates a minimum antler score of 130 points. This policy assures management geared to providing trophy hunting for world-class whitetail bucks. Occasionally cull bucks scoring less than 130 may be available. Does are also available, quota permitting, after a hunter has harvested his buck. Kentucky bucks are large-bodied deer and typically a 3-year old buck will have a live weight in the 250 lb. range. 2 ½ year old deer here are typically 8-points! Bucks are taken each season that score in the 150+ point range!
